Dr Jeremy Phillipps, graduated MBBS from Melbourne University in 2011, training in both Melbourne and Ballarat before moving down to Geelong.
Jeremy underwent extra training in surgery and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy (UniMelb) before thankfully switching over to General Practice. Prior to medicine, he completed an Arts Degree from Monash University in Asian Studies, as well as Japanese and Chinese languages. This included studying at both Tokyo and Shanghai Universities.
Jeremy loves trying to drag his three children off their screens and out into the great outdoors whenever he can. He is passionate about the beach, tennis, soccer, hiking, snowboarding, SCUBA diving, cooking and travel. He loves all animals, has a cat named Ferdi and a blue-tongue lizard named Larry.
Jeremy has been at KHMC since completing his RACGP fellowship in 2016, and enjoys all aspects of medicine, including paediatrics, palliative care and travel health, with a particular interest in the treatment of skin cancers. He has extra qualifications in skin health and skin surgery, and is experienced at performing full body skin checks and skin cancer surgery.
